Set up a DM auto-reply

    Connect Instagram

    Sign up for Xukko, then connect your Instagram Business or Creator account through Instagram's official login. Xukko never asks for your Instagram password.

    Create a DM automation

    Choose "Someone sends you a DM" and the words to watch for, or reply to every incoming message.

Fixed replies or AI answers

Fixed replies are best for things that don’t change: your address, timings, a link. AI answers handle everything else, using only what you wrote in your price list, FAQs and business description.

The 24-hour window

Instagram lets businesses message someone for 24 hours after that person’s last message. Xukko replies within seconds, well inside the window, and shows in the inbox when the window for a chat is closed.

Human takeover

Pause automation in any conversation and reply from the Xukko inbox. Your team members can work in the same inbox, and the person sees one continuous chat on Instagram.

Can I reply to every DM automatically?
Yes. Create a DM automation that replies to every incoming message. It skips chats where you've paused automation.
Will people know it's automated?
Your replies come from your own Instagram account, written in your words. Many businesses say so in the message, for example "Our team will follow up shortly".
Can my team reply too?
Yes. Invite team members to your workspace. Everyone sees the same inbox and can answer chats marked "Needs reply".
Is this allowed by Instagram?
Yes. Xukko uses Instagram's official API (Instagram API with Instagram Login), the route Meta approves for business messaging. It follows Instagram's rules: one private reply per comment, messages only within 24 hours of the person's last message, and Instagram's sending limits.
